Adam Battelstein

has worked as a professional dancer, choreographer and master teacher for the last fifteen years. He has worked with such companies as Zero Moving Dance Co., Momix and Pilobolus. He's been called a "master clown disguised as a dancer" and was noted by the New York Times for his "comic genius." In 1995, he began three years of study in the Meisner technique with Mark Adzick. Since then, he has joyfully revisited the discipline of acting playing such roles as Jeffery in Paul Rudnick's eponymous comedy as well as leading roles in Sylvia, Arms and the Man, The Lady's Not for Burning and A Mid-Summer Night's Dream. He has recently shared the stage with actors, such as Paul Newman and Gene Wilder. He was a guest artist on Brian Boitano's nationally televised skating spectacular. When not performing, Adam can most likely be found in the garden or the woods. For more, visit: www.adambattelstein.com.
