Greg McMahan

most recently appeared as Malcolm in The Full Monty at Thomaston Opera House. Previously he played the Captain of the Titanic at Musicals at Richter, The Proprietor in Assassins, Larry in Company, the baritone in A Grand Night for Singing, and various unsavory charactersin The Who’s Tommy, all in CT area theatres. In Midwest theatres, he performed in Carousel, Once Upon a Mattress, Pippin, The King and I, Finian’s Rainbow, and Bells Are Ringing. A longtime performer with the CGMC, he recently music directed their 70’s revue It’s Raining Men!, and is featured on the original cast recording of Out!  He studied voice and piano at Wittenberg University and has a BFA in Theatre Design from Wright State University. Previous to his current job as Art Director at Ethan Allen, Inc., he worked professionally as a costume designer, designing and/or building costumes for most of the CT regional theatres, as well as opera and Shakespeare companies nationwide.
