Missy Slaymaker-Hanlon
is a part time music and creative dramatics teacher and full time mother to her very theatrical six-year-old son Spencer. She is the former Theatre Department Director of the All for Arts Center in Bedford Hills, New York and currently the Head Drama Specialist at Camp Mohawk, in White Plains, NY. Missy directs the Youth Musical Theater Workshop at the Ridgefield Theater Barn where she also serves on the board of directors. Between producing and directing children’s theatrical performances in Westchester and Connecticut for the past fifteen years, she has made time to be seen on local stages in CT and NY. Favorite roles have included Lucy in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Sister Robert Ann in Nunsence, Bananas in The House of Blue Leaves and Ruthie/Ned in Bat Boy: The Musical. Ms. Missy wishes to thank her husband George who makes the juggling act of parent/spouse/teacher/ performer somehow possible every time.
