Richard Damaso

has enjoyed a wonderful run of performances this past year. Last spring he kicked off the 2005 season singing Aaron Copland vocal music as a concert soloist for the Hartford Chorale. In the summer he performed in the Thomaston Opera House's production of Oklahoma! as the comedic Ali Hakim. In the fall he did some rockin' singing as one of the four soloist performers in the Brookfield Theater for the Arts' production of Songs for a New World. This winter he completed the season as the notorious Spider in Thomaston Opera House's production of Jekyll and Hyde. The new 2006 season began with Richard extremely charged about playing both the Engineer and Thuy in the Middletown (NY) Paramount's production of Miss Saigon. He is a proud member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology class of 1995 where he earned bachelors degrees in both mechanical engineering and music.
