Tea at Five Star Noel Desiato Returns to TheatreWorks for Tennessee Williams’ Suddenly Last Summer
This past winter, Sherman actress Noel Desiato turned out a tour de force performance on the TheatreWorks New Milford stage as Katharine Hepburn in the one-woman blockbuster Tea at Five. Now, on July 11th, Ms. Desiato makes her triumphant return to the TheatreWorks boards as the wealthy and manipulative Violet Venable in Tennessee Williams’ searing drama, Suddenly Last Summer. Joining Ms. Desiato are six other outstanding actors, including Jeremiah Maestas as Dr. Cukrowicz. Mr. Maestas deftly portrayed The Elephant Man in the play of the same name at TheatreWorks in 2005. That same year, he played Adam in the Neil Labute drama, The Shape of Things, and followed up with a tour de force of his own in 2006 as Edward Kynaston, a male actor of the 1660s renowned for playing female roles in the ribald backstage comedy Compleat Female Stage Beauty. Another familiar face to TheatreWorks is the versatile young actress portraying the tormented character of Catharine Holly — Keilly Gillen McQuail. Ms. McQuail has been seen on the TheatreWorks stage often in the past two years — from Little Sally in Urinetown – The Musical, to Trisha in Dog Sees God, Nora in Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Mary Lane in Reefer Madness – The Musical. So please don’t miss out on seeing Ms. Desiato and this outstanding cast in another riveting production. Get your tickets today by clicking here. Remember, opening night, July 11th, TheatreWorks will host its regular open champagne and hors d’oeuvres reception for everyone in attendance after the curtain falls. Join us, won’t you? |
