Broadway Our Way 2

TheatreWorks New Milford is now accepting applications from young thespians for the THEATREWORKS KIDS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM for spring 2008. This theatrical workshop is offered to budding young performers between the ages of 8 and 17 and runs for eight weeks.

The program concludes on a high note in May when the After School Performers will present their production of BROADWAY OUR WAY 2. This production gives participants the opportunity to perform songs from popular Broadway musicals, such as WICKED, CHICAGO, and THE PRODUCERS. They will also become familiar with legendary composers and choreographers such as Stephen Sondheim and Bob Fosse. The eight-week program will culminate in a “Broadway-style” review that will consist of four performances for the public.

TheatreWorks Kids After School is under the direction of children’s theater instructor, Beth Bonnabeau-Harding. Ms. Bonnabeau-Harding is best known for her work in regional children’s theatre and as the instructor for the highly acclaimed TheatreWorks Kids Programs, which run all year round.
