There is no doubt…Tickets are going fast!

Opening night is SOLD OUT – Limited number of good seats remaining for this Saturday, July 11th. Don't miss the mystery!

John Patrick Shanley’s 2005 Pulitzer Prize-winning DOUBT is a riveting exploration of paranoia and suspicion in the Catholic Church. Strong-minded Sister Aloysius is an elementary school principal in the Bronx in 1964. She takes matters into her own hands when she suspects Father Flynn of improper relations with a male student, who is the first and only African American in the school. How far will she go when she's not entirely certain of the truth? This intense and personal power struggle between Sister Aloysius and Father Flynn ultimately calls into question both faith and justice in the shadows of this cloistered institution. Directed by Alicia Dempster, DOUBT's cast includes some of the region's finest actors including Noel Desiato as Sister Aloysius, J.Scott Williams as Father Flynn, Stephanie Jackson as Mrs. Muller, and Jessica Lea Alex as Sister James.

"This conflict belongs on the stage. It will remind you that theater is a more elegant medium for ideas than film."

– Richard Pettibone
TheatreWorks President

"DOUBT explores the very depths of human nature, the fine line that people walk between morality and ethics, and the motivating circumstances of each decision they make," said Director Alicia Dempster . "[Playwright John Patrick] Shanley’s dialogue is superb, and he has constructed four very unique, yet familiar, characters. Fortunately, our production features four outstanding performers to fill those shoes and give us a recipe for a magnificent drama that no one should miss."
