TheatreWorks New Milford Holds OPEN CASTING CALL for The Addams Family (Musical) March 14 and 15, 2020
TheatreWorks New Milford is seeking 6 men and 4 women PLUS ENSEMBLE for the musical comedy, The Addams Family.
Auditions will be held on Saturday March 14th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and on Sunday March 15th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at TheatreWorks, 5 Brookside Avenue (20 Elm St Extension for GPS), New Milford, CT.
The director is Jocelyn Beard of Wingdale, NY.
This comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family features an original story that is every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate Princess of Darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family whom her parents have never met. If that isn't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before: keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for both families on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s boyfriend and his parents.
All roles are available and both professionals and amateurs are welcome. TheatreWorks is a nonprofit organization but offers asmall honorarium to all performers.

Rehearsals begin in April with performances running weekends July 9 to August 8.
